Jojoba oil is actually a wax and has a golden yellow color.  It is highly stable with a long shelf life.  Jojoba is said to act as a natural anti-inflammatory and is a good choice for use in massage and for inflamed skin.  It is said that its composition is similar to that of the skin's natural sebum (oil).  Jojoba oil is a good choice for use with those that have oily  or acne prone skin.
Due to the growing demand of Jojoba Oil, prices are constantly rising and shortages are common.  As a result, many vendors are selling oil that is not authentic Jojoba Oil.  To ensure the Jojoba oil is authentic, leave it in refrigerator over night and the oil should be solid by next day. Special note:
Jojoba oil is rarely Cold Pressed, and is almost always Expeller Pressed.
